About the Founder
Nick Shabason
Nick is a Chartered Accountant with experience across private equity, strategic finance and PE-backed operating environments. His work sits at the intersection of commercial, financial and structural decision-making, with a particular focus on founder-led businesses navigating complexity, growth and transition.
Before founding NS Advisory, Nick held roles across private equity and senior finance leadership positions within entrepreneurially built businesses. That combination provides both an investor and operator perspective when assessing strategic, ownership and capital decisions.
A consistent theme in his work is helping businesses identify and address the structural constraints that often emerge beneath growth. This may involve improving financial visibility and decision-making frameworks, simplifying structures, aligning ownership and incentive models or supporting governance and capital readiness ahead of future strategic events
NS Advisory’s approach is grounded in the belief that many of the challenges businesses face at inflection points are interconnected rather than isolated.
