About the Founder
Nick Shabason
Nick is a Chartered Accountant with experience across private equity, corporate finance and PE-backed operating environments. His work sits at the intersection of finance, ownership and governance, drawing on experience advising on complex transactions, incentive structures, capital raises and shareholder restructures.
Before founding NS Advisory, Nick held roles in private equity and senior finance positions within private equity-backed growth businesses, providing him with both investor and operator perspectives on capital and ownership decisions.
Much of this work takes place ahead of capital events, leadership transitions or periods of accelerated growth.
NS Advisory’s work is grounded in the belief that decisions around ownership and capital structure often shape the long-term trajectory of a business. These moments require clear thinking across financial, tax, legal and governance dimensions, and careful consideration of second-order effects.
